About TRS Sacramento

We are a group of volunteers originating from a liberal faith community in Sacramento, CA. We came together after the 2024 election because we were and are deeply troubled by the anti-trans rhetoric of the current administration and the growing number of U.S. states enacting harmful legislation. Our aim is to provide resources and other forms of support to trans people, and families with trans children, seeking to relocate to the Sacramento area.

Our group is composed of trans folk, queer folk, and allies. We are affiliated with the Pink Haven Coalition, a national collective of organizations and individuals committed to trans liberation and joy, and to developing community defense, mutual aid, and alternative systems of care for gender diverse people.
